Gain a foundation in first aid principles and the skills to respond to emergencies. Be ready to give care in areas without immediate emergency medical services (EMS) response. This challenging course meets Girl Scouts of the USA requirements for first aid when help is more than 30 minutes away.

In-Person Training
Friday, Sept. 25, 3:30-10:05 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 26, 8:30 a.m.-6:50 p.m.
Sunday, Sept.27, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
What to expect:
- Please book classes carefully. This course is not eligible for a transfer request. Partial refunds may be considered with at least 14 business days' notice and return of the course manual.
- This class is held in person. There is no online component to be completed in advance. However, there is a pre-training Zoom meeting with the instructors to review expectations and answer preliminary questions and home study required.
- IMPORTANT: This class involves many realistic scenarios where you will evaluate and "treat" fellow students. Gloves will be used, but close personal contact is required. Do not register unless you feel comfortable participating and agree to always wear gloves during class practice.
- IMPORTANT: This is a challenging class and not all participants complete it successfully. Don't make plans for remote adventures, anticipating completion.
