Play It Safe Defense participants learn self-protection "Chihuahua Style!" This fun, age-appropriate class teaches Scouts how to verbally deal with friendship drama, Yo-Yo friends, bullies, and conflict resolution. Also, stranger awareness, abduction defense and body safety. Using role-play and simple techniques, Play It Safe teaches Scouts to be aware, project confidence, use voice, trust their intuition, and set boundaries. Patch and safety materials are included. Taught to over 200,000 San Diego Girl Scouts.
3 Classes:
- Daisies/ 2nd Grade Brownies: 10:00AM-12:00PM
- 3rd Grade Brownies/Juniors: 1:00PM-3:00PM
- Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors & Adults: 3:30PM-5:30PM
