This 70-mile thru-hike in Southern Sierra demands high-level backpacking skills from each participant. The awesome camaraderie, amazing vistas, and feeling of tremendous accomplishment that we experience on this trip comes from working together all year long to plan and execute a top-notch backpack trip.

We begin at Horseshoe Meadows - allowing us a strategic, high-altitude, 25-mile approach to our Whitney base camp. After summing up Mt. Whitney as a day hike from the west side, we re-supply, then continue north on the popular John Muir Trail, enjoying the long trail experience.
