2025 Emerging Leaders Program
Key Dates:
- Emerging Leaders Applications—Tuesday, Oct. 1-Sunday, Nov. 3.
- Emerging Leaders Phone Interviews—Monday, Nov. 11-Friday, Nov. 22.
- Public Speaking Workshop (Required to be considered for Speaking Roles)—December (Date TBD).
- Mandatory Emerging Leaders Orientation (must attend one session)—Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025, 2-5 p.m. OR Saturday, Jan.18, 2025, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Cool Women Celebration—Friday, March 14, 2025 (All Emerging Leaders are required to attend).
About Emerging Leaders
An Emerging Leader Girl Scout is a girl in 10th-12th grade who embodies the mission and promise of Girl Scouts to make the world a better place and strives to be a leader of courage, confidence, and character.
As part of the 2025 Emerging Leaders program, Girl Scouts will build skills in networking, business etiquette, public speaking, and personal brand basics through workshops. Then, they will meet with female leaders during a mentoring session and be recognized at our 2025 Cool Women Celebration on Friday, March 14, 2025. Select Emerging Leader Girl Scouts will introduce the class of 2025 Cool Women and speak on stage during the Cool Women Celebration program.
