On April 21, 4th and 5th grade girls from our Girl Scout Outreach
(GSO) Program traveled to Camp Whispering Oaks for the 23rd annual
Mountain Adventure Camp. Girl Scouts experienced the magic of camp
with a weekend of firsts: first hike through the mountains, first time
on a ropes course, first campfire with singing and s’mores, and more!
With support from GSO program leaders and staff, Girl Scouts built
confidence, created lasting friendships, and gained a weekend full of
memories.
"My favorite part of Mountain
Adventure was the campfire time, s’mores, our activities, the food,
and everything! 5/5 stars!" -Veya, 5th grade
Thank you to our sponsors, San Diego Rotary Club 33 and the ResMed Foundation, for helping make Mountain Adventure Weekend possible. Check out the photos!
