Early Bird Renewal

Early Bird Membership Campaign Details:

Early Bird Renewal is May 1-31! Renew your membership today to be eligible for all of the incentives. They're cumulative, so renew now to receive them all.

May 8 (register by May 6) or May 22 (register by May 20): Virtual Penguin Experience: Join our very own Mary Talle for an exclusive virtual look at the Sea World Penguin Encounter with surprise guests and a live Q & A session. 

May 31: Early Bird Patch: Girls who renew by May 31 will receive the limited-edition Early Bird patch for 2021-2022!

For Girls

Girl Scouts San Diego is excited to offer an exclusive Early Bird patch for all girls who register or renew for 2022 on or before May 31.

For Troops and Troop Leaders

Troop Incentives:

Troop leaders who renew or sign up 70% of girl members and 2 adult volunteers in your troop by May 20 are eligible to attend the Virtual Penguin  Experience.

For Service Units

Service Unit Incentive:

Service Units that register 60% of their 2021 girl and adult membership by May 31 will earn $100 cash incentive. From Thursday, April 29 until Thursday June 3, Service Unit Support will reach out to Service Unit Registrars and Managers on status updates and strategies for reaching their goals. 

Lifetime Membership

Who is eligible?

Lifetime membership is available to any individual who accepts the principles and beliefs of the Girl Scout Movement, pays the one-time lifetime membership fee, and is at least 18 years old (or a high school graduate or equivalent).

Adults, Supporters, and Volunteers who are 18 years or older: $400
10+ Year Volunteer: Adults with ten or more years of volunteer service: $200
Young Alums: Girl Scout alums who are under the age of 30: $200

Troop Changes: Leadership Change or Disbandment

Troop Leadership Change

If your troop is changing leadership next year, please contact us. We want to work with you and the new leaders to make the transition a smooth one. If you have any questions or need support, please contact our Customer Care team to be connected with your troop support specialist.

Troop Disbanding

If your troop plans to disband next year or you are unsure about continuing, please let us know. Our Troop Support team would love to talk with you about options for the troop, opportunities for individual girls who wish to continue in Girl Scouts, and alternative membership pathways. Please contact Customer Care to be connected with your troop support specialist.

Trouble Logging In?

Q: Why isn’t my username working?
A: Your username is typically your email address. If you have more than one email address, try each. You can also use the “Forgot Your Password?” link to send a reset email to your email address. If you’re still having trouble, contact your council’s Customer Care team.

Q: Why aren’t I getting the password reset emails?
A: The password reset emails come from, so please make sure it’s added to your safe senders list. If you requested the reset email before marking our email address as safe, check your spam folder. If you’re still not receiving the email, contact your council’s Customer Care team to verify that your username/email address is correct.

Q: How do I reset my password when I no longer have access to the email address associated with my account?
A: Your council’s Customer Care team can easily change your username/email address without requiring you to recreate your account.

Q: Why can’t I see my family when I log in?
A: There are a couple reasons this could happen:

  • Another adult family member may be listed as the preferred contact on the account. That person must log in to renew. Contact your council’s Customer Care team if you’d like to be listed as your household’s preferred contact.
  • You may have a second or duplicate account with a different email address. Try a different username. If that works, be sure to contact your council’s Customer Care team to merge the two accounts into one.

Q: Why can’t I see my troop(s) when I log in?
A: There are several reasons this could happen:

  • Troops are listed on a separate tab from your family. If you have more than one troop, look for the pull-down menu to change between them.
  • Check your member profile to make sure you’re listed as a volunteer in the troop.
  • Not all troop volunteers can access the troop tab. Check with your council to see which volunteer roles they allow to access the tab.
  • If your background check has expired, you may lose access until it is up-to-date.
