Come and enjoy an introduction to camp with your Daisy or Brownie Troop! Camp in modern lodges with other Troops as you express your creative side with a craft, play teambuilding games, engage in guided nature activities, test your aim at slingshots, or explore other fun activities our Balboa Campus has to offer.
Your troop is responsible for its own dinner on the first night; we'll provide breakfast and lunch the second day. We'll help you complete steps 3-5 of the badges Badge during the event and provide your troop leader with a lesson plan to complete steps 1 & 2 at a troop meeting before the event. Daisies will earn the Buddy Camper Badge, Brownies will earn the Camping Badge
* This event is also open to Daisies - they will earn the Buddy Camper Badge
At least one adult per troop must have completed the Basic Overnights training and have a current First Aid/CPR certificate. This is NOT a drop off event; adults must register & attend to supervise their campers per Girl Scout Safety Standards Troop Management (sdgirlscouts.org)
All registered adults must have a current background check and LiveScan with GSSD.
