Girl Scouts San Diego is partnering with People Assisting the Homeless (PATH) San Diego where they provide services for those experiencing homelessness that include outreach, housing navigation, interim housing, rapid rehousing, and permanent supportive housing. Residents staying in one of their 8 county-wide locations are always in need of spring cleaning supplies.
This spring from May 15-31, Girl Scouts can earn a free patch by donating an item which includes hand towels, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, multi-purpose cleaner and/or glass cleaner. Use this form to order your patch. Drop off will take place at participating California Coast Credit Unions (see locations below) and Girl Scouts San Diego council offices during business hours: Balboa M-F, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Escondido Wed., 12- 6 p.m, Fri., 9-4 p.m., and every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 9-4 p.m.; Carlsbad Tues. and Thurs. 9-4 p.m. with lunch closure from 1-1:30 p.m., and every 2nd and 4th Saturday 9-4 p.m.
