Early Bird Renewal
The Girl Scout year runs from Oct. 1-Sept. 30. Girl Scouts San Diego's Early Bird renewal period (ending May 31) allows troop leaders and caregivers to renew memberships before the busy school year kicks off. Below are some exciting incentives for those who renew their memberships during this time.
Membership Dues Adjustment
Girl membership dues will be $45 for Membership Year (MY) 2026 and $65 for MY 2027. Adult dues are $30, effective MY 2026. What led to this price increase? On Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, more than 800 delegates from across the country convened virtually to discuss, debate, and decide on our collective path forward at the Special 57th National Council Session.
Our National Council engaged in robust and constructive debate regarding two proposals to increase annual dues for girl and adult members, delegates ultimately voted to raise girl membership dues to $65, which will be phased in over the next two years.
This investment provides the opportunity to implement initiatives that will have a lasting impact on the Girl Scouts, volunteers, and families we serve. Financial assistance is available.
