Celebrating 26 Years of Cool Women
Save the date for Cool Women 2027: Friday, April 23
Girl Scouts San Diego hosts the Cool Women Celebration to recognize five honorees and Emerging Leader Girl Scouts in grades 10-12. The event brings together hundreds of guests to celebrate Women’s History Month, honor trailblazing women in the community, and support the next generation of leaders.
During a special mentoring session, Emerging Leader Girl Scouts meet with the Cool Women honorees and other accomplished female professionals across industries including STEM, business, media, law, education, and the arts.
Nominations are now open for the Cool Women Class of 2027
We invite you to take a moment to nominate someone who is shaping their industry, inspiring their communities, and/or driving meaningful change in our region. Nominate today through Friday, Nov. 20.
Do you know a 10th-12th grader who wants to build their skills, connect with peers, and meet with inspiring mentors? Encourage them to apply for the Emerging Leader Girl Scout program today! Applications are open from now through Sunday, Nov. 1.
A Look Back at the 25th Annual Cool Women Celebration
Surrounded by more than 500 guests, dedicated sponsors, generous table hosts, and our beloved event chair, Patti Roscoe, the energy in the room was a powerful reminder of what is possible when we come together with purpose.
A special highlight of the day was our morning mentoring session, where more than 100 participants—including 60 outstanding Emerging Leader Girl Scouts—engaged in meaningful conversations with volunteer mentors. These moments of connection, guidance, and encouragement are at the heart of what makes this event so impactful.
