Since 2002, San Diego Girl Scout troops and their cookie customers have sent more than 2 million boxes of America's favorite cookies and countless notes of support to deployed troops serving in Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa, Japan, Korea, and the Persian Gulf, Western Pacific and Indian Ocean.
Every dollar donated purchases cookies, since American President Lines (APL) generously provides free shipping!
Everyone's invited to join Girl Scouts, friends, families, cookie customers, VIPs and military troops aboard USS Midway for this exciting free event as we send the two millionth box of cookies overseas. Enjoy live music, girl activities, and photo opportunities, and cheer on the Girl Scouts' top cookie sellers as they arrive by helicopter.
