Join the Veterinary Specialty Hospital team in this dog and cat blood drive event in Sorrento Valley!  This annual blood donation drive will help dogs and cats in San Diego in desperate need of blood. During the event, Girl Scouts will help check in donor cats and dogs, enjoy tours of the VSH, learn what it's like to be a veterinarian, enjoy pizza, and win prizes!
Girl Scouts are encouraged to bring their pet dog or cat to the event to sign up to be a blood donor.
* Dogs must be between 1 - 7 years old and over 55lbs and in good health.
* Cats must be between 1 - 7 years old and over 10lbs and in good health.
* All donor dogs and cats will receive a free initial exam with a critical care specialty veterinarian and examinations before all blood donations.
* Girl Scouts are not required to bring a pet. This is optional.
Badges/Patches: Girl Scouts of all ages will earn steps toward their age-level-specific animal/pets badge. Girls also receive a special Veterinary Specialty Hospital patch! Patch is included. Badges are not included.
Location: Veterinary Specialty Hospital, 10435 Sorrento Valley Road, San Diego, CA 92121
