CSA Year at a Glance

Growing up doesn’t have to mean outgrowing Girl Scouts! Check out these amazing programs and experiences offered throughout the year just for CSAs (Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors). We help girls in grades 6-12 further their exploration of who they are and who they can become through these special opportunities. What does the future hold for you?

As you explore all the CSA opportunities in the month-by-month outline below, remember that many of these programs can be done at any time! For troops in grades 5 and up, it can be helpful to introduce each monthly topic at a troop meeting and then let the girls dive into their favorite topics.

September: Civic Engagement
Become a catalyst for change in your community—and the world!
  • Complete a new Democracy badge and learn how to be an informed citizen, champion your views, and influence leadership.
  • Check out the G.I.R.L. Agenda to take civic action as a community advocate and make the world a better place.
  • Use your voice to advocate for issues that are important to you and your community.
  • Stay tuned: Girl Scouts San Diego is working to develop a special interest group for older girls to build leadership and confidence in civic engagement.
October: Go Global

All are sponsored by GSUSA and are conducted by Girl Scout councils and other trusted providers.
