Celebrate 20 Years of Cool Women

Cool Women 2020
20 Years of Honoring Cool Women...
a lifetime of investing in Emerging Leaders

Watch the program

On June 12, we saluted the Cool Women of 2000-2019 and our 2020 Emerging Leader Girl Scouts.

Cool Women are consummate role models for girls, and the courage, confidence, and character of our inspirational Emerging Leader Girl Scouts embody our mission.

Generous supporters donated $128,000 for programs that will empower today’s Girl Scouts to be the Cool Women of tomorrow. Special thanks to the Cool Women alums who jointly matched $25,000 of the gifts.

Former CEO Jo Dee Jacob, a Cool Woman of 2016, shared the origins of the Cool Women program during this inspirational event. We reminisced with Cool Women alums and discovered what they’re up to now; and heard from CEO Carol Dedrich and 2019 National Gold Award Girl Scout Ana De Almeida Amaral of Chula Vista.
