Cool Women

Each year since 2001, Girl Scouts San Diego has honored exemplary local women whose personal and professional achievements make them consummate role models for girls. These Cool Women make the world a better place as they balance work, family, friends and community service.

We honored our 2015 Cool Women and Cool Girl during a luncheon and ceremony at the Del Mar Country Club. Event proceeds helped support program outreach for girls in schools in low-income neighborhoods, homeless shelters and the Girls Rehabilitation Facility.

Girl Scouts San Diego board members Julie Dubick and Lori Walton chaired the 15th annual celebration. During the ceremony, each honoree was introduced by a Cool Woman from a prior year.
