Brownie Super STEAM Workshop Series

Join us on an exciting, fully interactive, and completely hands-on virtual adventure where we will be exploring our outdoor world and harnessing the power of the wind through boats that travel over land, the honeybees flight, and the leaps & jumps of frog species! Workshops include: 5 Days, Mon - Fri, with 3 Hours each day, jammed packed with hands-on, fully interactive activities to stimulate critical & creative thinking, a growth mind-set, social-emotional skills, and to get the body up & moving! During this camp, Brownies will earn their Outdoor Art Creator Badge and all three Mechanical Engineering Badges: Fling Flyer Design Challenge, Leap Bot Design Challenge, & Race Car Design Challenge. Girls will receive a Certificate of Completion, and an exclusive Challenge Island Patch. A STEAM lesson & design build each day which completes a Girl Scout badge or Journey requirement Each day of camp we will also be focusing on two parts of the Girl Scout Law through our STEAM lesson, songs and/or games Camp Songs! Swiftkick Growing Girl Workshop - Healthy Friendships I

Swiftkick’s (@swiftkickma) curriculum focuses on a number of important themes that are presented in a safe, inclusive and age-appropriate environment. This particular workshop will focus on what good friendships feel like, when it's time to find new friends (avoiding toxic friendships) and will include a stress - relieving martial arts segment, where girls will learn applicable, functional martial arts techniques. Our goal is to help create empowered and strong young girls who are equipped to handle any challenge that comes their way as they enter their tween, teen and young adult years. In this workshop, girls will practice self-defense, discuss healthy friendships, discover fun ways to encourage other girls, and navigate dealing with conflict with peers and classmates. Themes will be navigated through movement, arts & crafts and age appropriate conversations.
