Troop Adventure Weekend Youth Program Leader - August 2019

Develop your leadership skills as a troop during an Adventure Weekend at Camp Whispering Oaks. Assist camp staff in leading activities in areas like arts and crafts, teambuilding, outdoor skills, nature and science. You’ll earn the Service to Girl Scouts bar after attending the entire weekend. Individually Registered Members, please contact Sam "Hutton" Brasted, for participation information. Prerequisites: One adult must have completed the basic overnights training and have a current First Aid/CPR certificate.

First-time troop campers, this one’s for you: Adventure Weekends provide a well-rounded sampler in a comfortable environment. Get your troop into the camp spirit with arts and crafts, teambuilding, outdoor skill, nature and science activities. Your troop will be split into different, neighboring cabins to meet new friends and learn about community living. We’ll provide meals, activity supplies and modern lodging. Prerequisites: Girls must have already completed an overnight with their troop; one leader must have completed the basic overnights training and have a current First Aid/CPR certificate.
