Travel Bug
Girl Scouts San Diego and Hostelling International-San Diego team up to get girls and adults practicing more sustainable local and global travel. Girl Scout Cadettes and adults interested in pursuing more advanced travel will interact with experienced travelers and professionals in this interactive workshop to "discover the sustainable and resourceful you!" Participants will take a quiz to discover their travel personalities and design a trip to match their interests, engage in a hostel scavenger hunt, try on a new culture and learn how to make smarter—and greener—travel choices! This event is different than Hostelling International's Travel 101 workshop and will broaden your horizons beyond the basics! Workshops will include some separate sessions for adults and girls.
