Share Her Annual Real Expense (S.H.A.R.E.)
Leadership defines Girl Scouting. Through Girl Scouts, a girl gains confidence and inspiration to become a leader among her peers and in the community.
While a girl pays just $12 a year to join Girl Scouts, the cost for our council to provide a year of relevant and current programming is $258 per year per girl.
Your SHARE donation helps us bridge this significant gap between dues and actual program costs, to keep Girl Scouting affordable and available to every girl. All SHARE funds stay right here with the San Diego-Imperial Council to benefit Girl Scouts in your neighborhood.
Your SHARE gift helps provide:
- Girl programs–Girls discover new talents at National Girls and Women in Sports Day, Thinking Day and more
- Financial assistance–Regardless of ability to pay, girls can attend camp, receive uniforms and badges, experience our programs and benefit from Girl Scouting
- Volunteer training–Adults receive the training, tools and program materials necessary to prepare Girl Scouts for success
- Property maintenance–Keeping our seven council properties–Camps Winacka and Whispering Oaks, the Palomar Mountain camp facility, and service/program centers in Balboa Park, Carlsbad, Escondido, and El Centro–ensures girls can enjoy programs in a safe environment
SHARE gifts of any amount make a difference. It's easy to participate...
