Operation Thin Mint℠ (OTM) is a local Girl Scout service project that originated in San Diego in 2002. This year with support from the community, Girl Scouts hit an impressive milestone of reaching a cumulative 4 million packages of America's favorite cookies and countless notes of support to deployed troops serving around the world, including Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa, Japan, Korea, and the Western Pacific and Indian Ocean.
To honor the Operation Thin Mint Program, our troops, our top 10 OTM Superstars, our Elite Cookie Entrepreneurs, family, and friends are invited aboard the USS Midway Museum for an exciting evening on the flight deck, featuring music, interactive booths, and a patriotic pep rally. Save the date: Operation Thin Mint Sendoff and Family Festival returns on Saturday, May 4 aboard the USS Midway! More details and ticket information coming soon.

Since 2002, Girl Scouts have participated in collecting cookie packages for Operation Thin Mint℠ (OTM), a local Girl Scout service project that originated in San Diego. Our Girl Scout troops and their generous cookie customers have sent over 4.1 million packages of America's favorite cookies and countless notes of support to deployed troops serving around the world. At the end of each cookie season, Girl Scouts come together to celebrate sending off the cookies to our military service members.
