Offered all three sessions: Information on ADHD, and other behavioral/emotional problems, and ways to manage them. Learn when a behavior is beyond the scope of a troop leader and impacting others, and what to do about it. Create a healthy group dynamic and positive experience for all... including yourself!

Ambassador Troop 5007 invites you to experience Journeys for Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors through hands-on activities and projects, straight from the sample sessions! Get the straight scoop from girls who've "been there done that", and take away fresh ideas, handouts, and projects to duplicate at home!
- Cookie Program - 5 Essential Skills
Girl Scout Cookies are a Girl Scout tradition that clearly ties into the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. As Troop Leader, you can guide your girls using fun activities to ensure they are learning the 5 Essential Skills during the cookie program. In this session you'll participate in activities you can easily duplicate with your troop, and you'll walk away with lots of tools and resources to make your cookie program a success!
- How to be Girl-led
Does coaching your troop to be "girl-led" sound like you might end up with M&M's for lunch? Or that the troop might take a limo ride to Belmont Park? Participate in a dialogue with Aimee Zeitz, and then learn tips and techniques for facilitating age-appropriate girl-led decision making and planning with your troop.
- Destinations Travel Program
Through the destinations travel program, girls age 11-17 go somewhere new, try different activities, and meet people from around the world. During this session, meet local Girl Scouts who have traveled on destinations, obtain information on completing the application, and learn how financial aid can make your girls' travel dreams come true.
- From Leader to Coach - the High School Years

This presentation covers girl-planning, progression, training, paperwork, insurance, money-earning, and more.
- What to Do Instead of Screaming!
Back by popular demand, this interactive session helps you have more fun with your girls while keeping your cool! It's packed with sure-fire leader skill-builders, strategies, games and FUN. Led by Director of Program, Jen Nation, you'll learn how to really engage girls and help them cultivate a feeling of community.
- Sing Some Songs
Silly songs, sweet songs, old songs, active songs—come make some noise with us! Singing together has been a Girl Scout tradition for 100 years. Song leaders will teach you songs so you can bring this tradition to your girls. Learn lyrics, sing in harmony, and practice hand motions. If desired, bring a recording device.
- Bronze and Silver Award Process
Learn about the process of earning these highest Junior and Cadette awards. Members of the Gold Committee will coach you on adjusting your role as the girls' age, answer all your questions, and advise you about best practices to help girls through this progression of achievement.
