A BIG thank you!

Many, many thanks to the thousands of adults whose efforts supported San Diego and Imperial county girls in reaching their goals and building a lifetime of leadership skills!

Through their participation in the cookie program, thousands of girls have learned goal setting, decision making, money management people skills and business ethics. They will take their experiences and earned proceeds to make the world a better place.

Thank you!

Finalizing the sale

Please complete the following by tomorrow, March 19:

  • Finalized troop data and girl rewards orders due in eBudde by 11:59 p.m. (page 56).
  • Funds for final payment must be in troop bank account by end-of-business day (page 17).
  • If applicable, parent/guardian outstanding balance report(s) due in eBudde and paperwork due to SUCC (pages 53-54).

Note: If a troop bank account will have insufficient funds to complete the final payment to council even after entering parent outstanding balances, the troop should inform Product Sales by emailing reconciliation@sdgirlscouts.org. This will prevent the troop account from being overdrawn.

Volunteer survey

We are already planning for the 2015 cookie program and we want to hear from you! Your valuable feedback helps us shape and enhance the cookie program for the coming year. Please take a few minutes to complete our Cookie Volunteer Survey

At the end of the survey, you will be redirected to a website where you can enter your name into a drawing.  Five lucky winners will be chosen at random to win a Girl Scout lunch cooler and water bottle! (Survey responses are anonymous; your entry into the drawing is not linked to your answers.)

Cookie Club contacts

Cookie Club customer information does not currently roll over to the next cookie season. Please remind your girls to export and save their contacts for next year. It's easy! Just select the Contacts tab and hit the Export button. Save them to your computer and import your contacts into Cookie Club next year!

Set, Reach ... Matched! contest deadline

If your troop entered Set, Reach ... Matched! and achieved your goal, don't forget to email your troop number to cookiecontest@sdgirlscouts.org by

Thursday, March 20 to be eligible for the random drawing. Winners will be announced at Operation Thin Mint Sendoff Saturday, May 3.

FAQs

Q. When will the girl rewards be distributed?

A. Rewards for up to 425 boxes will be distributed by service units in May/June. Rewards for 525 boxes and above will be coordinated directly with girls; registration letters for cookie reward events will be mailed and emailed in April. Girls who haven't received their letters by April 30 should contact cookies@sdgirlscouts.org as soon as possible. To avoid delays, parents and guardians should confirm that their mailing and email addresses are listed correctly on our registration site by Sunday, March 23.

Q. What can we do if we have unsold cookies?

A. Make sure your SUCC knows that your troop still has cookies as council continues to receive customer inquiries. Girls can continue to sell to family, friends and previous customers (no walkabouts, standabouts or booth sales).

Q. What if I see a troop/girl(s) violating policies?

A. In the event that a disregard of policy is observed, assume good intent as mistakes happen to everyone. Simply ask (politely and respectfully) for the girl's name and/or troop number and share it with your SUCC and/or the Product Sales team via cookies@sdgirlscouts.org. No further action should be taken by the reporting party - troops/parents should not attempt to resolve the issue themselves nor harass any other girls/adults. Please remember to be honest and fairfriendly andhelpfulconsiderate and caringrespectful of others, and a sister to every Girl Scout

Cookie Program

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led business in the country and generates immeasurable benefits for girls, their councils, and their communities.  Girls set cookie sales goals to support their chosen activities, to fund community service/leadership projects, to attend camp, and to travel.

Through the Girl Scout Cookie Program, girls develop five essential skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics.
