Parents and Family - An Important Part of Girl Scouts
In Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship and power of girls together. Through enriching experiences like field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service work, travel and environmental projects, girls grow confident and strong.
Parents and other important adults in a girl's life can experience this same kind of enrichment by getting involved with Girl Scouts as a volunteer
The influence a caring adult has on a child will last a lifetime
Girl Scouts has always been a volunteer-driven organization. For nearly 100 years Girl Scouts has depended on adult volunteers to plan, lead and deliver programs to girls. There are hundreds of ways parents, sisters, moms, dads, grandparents and other adults can maximize her Girl Scout experience
Whether you work directly with girls or support adults who do, you can help each girl develop to her full potential.
