These classes are designed to support you on your leadership journey. There are classes for each program level of Girl Scouting, and plenty of fun options for things to do with your girls. Advanced Flag Ceremonies
Go beyond the basics to discover how to properly honor the American flag in many situations. Determine when flag retirement is necessary and how to perform it. Learn flag etiquette, presentation and display protocol and how to conduct a formal ceremony. Try some fun and memorable ceremonies that will bring history and patriotism to life for your girls! Fee $5.
Archery is truly a beloved part of the outdoor experience! This training will permit you to teach your girls archery safely by meeting the Safety-Wise standard for Archery Instructor Certification (3-year certification). All materials needed for training are provided. Feel free to bring a sack lunch; there is no place on-site to purchase food during the class break. Leaders, assistant leaders and interested adults (18 years and older) are welcome to attend. Course length: 8 hours. Fee $25.
Discover ceremonies that honor Girl Scout traditions such as flag, bridging, Scout’s Own and investiture ceremonies. This training is also available in a home study download. Email email@example.com. Course length: 3 hours. Fee: $5
Learn about group dynamics and ways to successfully run a multi-age level encampment. Discover how to plan orientation meetings and camper councils that engage girls of all ages. Timelines, registration options, menu planning, safety and confirmation packets will also be discussed. Event and Series Director
In-person course: Discover the guidelines and best practices for conducting a successful Girl Scout event or series. Whether you’re hosting a She-and-Me Tea or a sailing series, you’ll find practical tips on girl planning, safety management and record-keeping. Follow up with the optional Event Director Workshop, immediately following this course. Note: This training does not cover encampments. Course length: 2 hours. Fee: $5

Event and Series Director Workshop
You’ve taken the Event and series Director course, now get a jump start on your event! Your experienced trainer will guide small groups—clustered by event type—to make preliminary plans. Sketch out your next course of action, brainstorm solutions, and share resources. This is a helpful, but optional, workshop. Prerequisite: Event and Series Director in-person or home-study completion. Note: this workshop does not cover encampments. Course length: 2 hours. Fee: $5
Gold Award Workshop
Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors along with their adult supporters will get ready to Go Gold! Girls will work with experienced facilitators to discover their passions, connect with community issues around their passions, and get inspired to Take Action. Tips and Tools for Busy Volunteers
Come to this interactive workshop for adults working with Daisy, Brownie and Junior girls. Learn clever tips for working with your girls, fun games to teach your troop, and successful girl-planning techniques. A trio of hands-on sessions will give you lots of new ideas and plenty of handouts to take home. Course Length: 3 hours. Fee: $5
This informative workshop will address group and safety management, paperwork requirements, money-earning tips, planning timelines, keys to managing girl and parent expectation.
