Hilton Lakes, nestled into granite bowls and high forest, are a great place to take your first or second High Sierra backpacking trip. The 5-mile hike into the basin makes for an easy approach to your first wooded lakeside campsite; spend other nights at different lakes. Spend the days splashing and hiking among the higher alpine lakes, which climb right up to 10,000 feet.
Pre-requisite: due to the elevation, you will need to have completed a back-pack trip at an altitude of at least 9,000 feet. All participants need to have a current cert. in CPR/1st aid.
Mandatory -   to attend planning meeting, pack check and the day hike in the local mountains on June 2, 2018.

Cancellation Policy: Refund and transfer requests must be submitted in writing prior to the registration deadline listed on the activity. No refunds or transfers will be issued after the registration deadline has passed unless the event is cancelled by council staff.
