Event Resources and Tools

Our Recruitment Presentation Script will help you prepare to speak to interested families at your event, or any time you field questions about Girl Scouts. Coloring sheets and puzzles give girls a fun activity while you talk to adults. Remember to collect sign-in sheets so we can follow up with interested families.

Please connect with your Regional Recruitment Specialist after your event to share sign-in sheets and updates.

News and Campaigns
Be a Sister to Every G.I.R.L.

Do you wish every girl could be a Girl Scout? We do too. Help inspire new girls, new volunteers, and new troops to spring up in May, June, and July—and earn great opportunities for your troop this summer!

Our new Extended-Year Membership provides a great opportunity for new members to get up to 17 months of membership at a discounted rate.

Your troop or individual girl can participate in our Be a Sister to Every G.I.R.L. campaign by completing the steps below. Plus, participating troops have a chance to get creative and help us design a brand new Girl Scouts San Diego patch!

All participating troops/girls will be entered to win two (2) complimentary adult tickets and a parking pass to the Volunteer Conference and Celebration (VCC) on Saturday, August 25. Plus... your troop/girl might win the chance to create a brand new patch for Girl Scouts San Diego! Three participating troops/girls will be chosen to pitch their design for the Be a Sister patch to Girl Scouts staff, and the winning troop/girl will work with our professional marketing team to make the patch design a reality.

All participating troops/girls (regardless of submitting a design concept) will receive the patch, as will troops/girls who help us with Girl Scout recruitment throughout the 2019 membership year.

You'll find loads of ideas and more details in the Be a Sister toolkit. Email membership staff with any questions. Deadline to enter is July 15.

Share your Girl Scout stories and opportunities, including the Extended-Year Membership option, on social media with #inspirealeader, #inspireatroop, and #inspireagirlscout.

Promote joining Girl Scouts at your school or in your community with a cafeteria rally or info table. We can show you how!

Invite new girls and their parents to a troop party, a special activity, or even a troop meeting to see Girl Scouts in action.

Remember to check this page regularly for recruitment news and updates!
