Each year, Girl Scouts San Diego honors exemplary women whose personal and professional lives make them consummate role models for girls. Cool Women make the world a better place as they balance work, family, friends, and community service.
During a luncheon and ceremony on March 29, the Cool Women of 2019 shared the spotlight with the 41 Emerging Leader Girl Scouts recognized for their outstanding achievements and potential.
Sandra Maas of KUSI emceed the event, which was co-chaired by Joyce Glazer and Angie Lasagna, and held at the Kona Kai Resort.
The connections forged among our Emerging Leader Girl Scouts, Cool Women, executive mentors, and luncheon guests will advance female leadership in San Diego.
Proceeds support programs that empower girls to use their voices, develop a strong sense of self, step outside their comfort zones, and build resilience.
Thank you, also, to the outstanding executive women mentors who shared their experience, encouragement, and inspiration with the Emerging Leaders during a mentoring session that morning.
