Gold and Silver Award Ceremonies

Saturday, June 16 at Copley Symphony Hall
Silver Award: 10 a.m.
Gold Award: 2 p.m.

We look forward to saluting our Class of 2018 Gold and Silver Award Girl Scouts during two June ceremonies at Copley Symphony Hall.

Get ready for an afternoon of inspiration by learning about our 2017 Gold Award Girl Scouts' 55 unique and ambitious Take Action projects, described in the ceremony program.

Please note: The new parking lot location is the garage at 707 Broadway St. by the Chase Bank building.

As the highest achievement in Girl Scouting, the Gold Award is not easy to obtain. Earned by less than six percent of Girl Scouts annually, it requires girls to demonstrate their leadership abilities by creating sustainable projects that address a local or global issue.
At our ceremony, you will learn how our Gold Award Girl Scouts made a lasting impact. Girl Scouts, just like you

  • developed apps that coach your tennis swing and help get out the vote.
  • started sports teams in underserved areas.
  • created clubs to combat teenage stress, teach public speaking, and engage senior citizens.
  • connected with communities in Malawi, Honduras, Mexico, Kenya, Spain, Liberia, Brazil, Sweden, Turkey, and Denmark. And
  • made the world a better place!

Gold Award Girl Scouts are impressive to colleges, universities, and employers—including the military, which advances Gold Award Girl Scouts a full rank.
