Daisy's Circle

Daisy’s Circle is Girl Scouts San Diego’s new monthly giving program named after Girl Scout founder, Juliette “Daisy” Gordon Low! This opportunity is designed to cultivate philanthropy among friends, members, and volunteers of Girl Scouts San Diego.

Current, future and prospective Daisy’s Circle members are invited to join us for light appetizers and to learn how your monthly gift makes a BIG difference in providing opportunities for Girl Scouts in San Diego and Imperial Counties. Stop by and complete a brief survey and you will be entered to win a gift card. Join Daisy’s Circle during the reception or stop by wearing your Daisy’s Circle pin, and you will be entered to win two tickets this year’s Urban Campout: Mad about Science!

Please contact Angela Addington or 619-610-0755 if you have any questions.

Monthly gifts make a BIG impact! By making a financial contribution, you sustain our mission and ensure girls and volunteers have a meaningful Girl Scout experience. Each year, Girl Scouts San Diego provides over $260,000 in financial assistance—it is our goal to grow Daisy’s Circle large enough to fill this need!

Your commitment will help us keep Daisy’s promise alive, ensuring that more girls can develop the skills they need for a lifetime of leadership!

I believe in Girl Scouts … because Girl Scouts helped me to believe in myself.

As a Brownie selling cookies, I learned the satisfaction of achieving my goals. My hard work yielded results, my self-reliance was welcomed and my unique strengths were valued. Those 12 years as a girl member gave me a space where I felt I truly belonged and opened many doors for me.

Twenty years later, I was thrilled when my daughter, Gabi, asked if she could be a Brownie, too. Saying “Yes!” launched a whole new chapter in my Girl Scout journey.

Girl Scouts showed me that I have power and a voice. Now it’s doing the same thing for my Girl Scout Junior. Gabi works hard and believes in her abilities as a leader, and every day I see the confidence she’s developing. These positive experiences are the cornerstone of Girl Scouting.

For me, Girl Scouts is all about opportunities … for new experiences, to strengthen my own leadership skills, and to grow with Gabi.

As a Girl Scout troop leader, council trainer and national delegate, I’m proud to give back to the organization that has given me so much. Can you tell I’m passionate about Girl Scouts?

That’s why I’m participating in Daisy’s Circle — an easy way to support Girl Scouts San Diego through monthly contributions of $25, $35, $50, $100 (or any amount). This new program was named in honor of Juliette “Daisy” Gordon Low and the enduring power of the Girl Scout movement she started over 100 years ago.

Won’t you join me as a founding member of Daisy’s Circle? Your commitment will help us keep Daisy’s promise alive, ensuring that more girls can develop the skills they need for a lifetime of leadership!
