Grades 2-5 | Adventure Weekends | Camp Whispering Oaks

First-time campers, this one's for you: Adventure Weekends provide a well-rounded sampler in a comfortable environment. Get into the camp spirit with arts and crafts, team building, outdoor skills, nature and science activities. Your troop will be split into different, neighboring cabins to meet new friends and learn about community living.

Grades 4-8 | Weekend Escapes | Camp Winacka

Venture to Camp Winacka for a weekend of fun and friendship in the great outdoors. Build your perfect custom schedule — you’ll spend half your time on activities led by camp staff, then plan the rest of your activities as a troop! Whether you want to relax, explore, or work on a badge or project, you’ll have plenty of time to spend the way you want. Staff-led activities will include outdoor favorites like archery, fishing and hiking. Fourth- and fifth-graders will have a chance to try the Low Ropes Challenge Course, and sixth- through eighth-graders will try the climbing wall or zip line.

Camp in modern lodges with other Brownies from across our council as you express your creative side, play team building games and engage in guided nature activities.

Grades 2-12 | He & Me Camping Adventure | Camp Winacka

Girl Scouts experience all the fun of camp with their adult “He” (a registered Girl Scout dad, uncle, stepdad, brother, etc.) They’ll discover nature and enjoy teambuilding and arts activities, campfires, skits and hearty meals. Camp counselors stay with girls in rustic cabins adjacent to “He” accommodations. Older campers and their “He’s” have extra freedom to explore camp on their own, or participate in select older-girl activities like archery and high ropes.

Grades K-12 | She & Me Camping Adventure | Camp Whispering Oaks

Girl Scouts experience all the fun of camp with their adult "She" (a registered Girl Scout mom, grandmother, aunt, sister, mentor, etc.). They'll discover nature and enjoy team building, campfires, skits and delicious meals. This is an individual event designed to strengthen the bond between Girl Scouts and their "She's;" troop affiliations will not be considered when making cabin assignments. Older girls (grades 6-12) and their "She's" can participate in select activities like high ropes and archery. They also have extra freedom to explore camp on their own or help out with events such as campfire.
