October is Cyber Safety Month! Get involved and do your part to make the Internet safer and more secure for everyone.
At this interactive seminar for adults and children (ages 10-18), discuss online awareness and preparedness with San Diego Police Chief Shelley Zimmerman and representatives from Securing our eCity Foundation and the San Diego Police Foundation’s Safety Net program. Learn about potential threats and how to protect children who use smartphones and social media. After kicking off the event together, adults and children will split up for separate cyber training. Bring a friend — this free event is open to the community.
This event is currently at capacity. RSVP to Angela Addington, (619) 610-0755, to be added to a waitlist.
